Stirfry

Mrs Clayton andd the grade 3 and 4 children has been harvesting some vegies from our garden. The children then made the following stirfry. This is Mrs Clayton's recipe.

STIR FRIED GREENS

INGREDIENTS
• Garlic
• Oil
• Asian greens or any veg really
• We used our veg that the children grew in our gardens: spring onions, spinach, pak choy, broccolini, beetroot leaves, broad bean tips and celery.

METHOD
• Put oil in pan and when hot add garlic
• When garlic starts to sizzle add onion
• Then add harder veg like celery, broccoli
• Lastly add leafy greens
• Add a dash of soy, or oyster sauce, or hoisin
• Serve with rice
• If more adventurous a hint of chilli in with the garlic or some ginger, squeeze of lemon at the end is also nice

Lastly, enjoy and know that you’re getting a good hit of nutrients and antioxidants.
